Pavilion Project
PCC would like to announce the serious commencement of plans to fund a new build pavilion within the next 5 years at Beach Close.
The Management Committee at PCC have decided to work in close co-operation with AMK Leisure Consultants who are putting together a business plan for us to gain funding from various sources for our building scheme.
October 2009: We are currently liaising with Dave Lloyd at AMK Leisure to submit our business plan for the next round of funding on October 16th. We also have the strong support of Phil Evans, our Cricket Development Officer for the region who is meeting with ECB reps and Denbighshire CC to throw his weight behind the scheme. Members of the M/C are meeting with an architect this month also.
The new build, if we secure grant funding, business funding and sponsorship will not only build a cricket club but a whole community based club that can be used for other sporting and non-sporting events. PCC intend to involve the local community, and urge them to have a say in events and facilities they would like to see incorporated in the new look pavilion.
In the current financial climate we need any help with funding we can get. A lot of money will be needed to be generated from our own club and we need your help along the way to get involved.
As the scheme progresses and we look to bring in specialists from the business/construction industries etc, we want everyone currently at PCC to be fully involved and know what is going on.
Therefore this special page on our website will be updated as soon as we have something new to report.
The Management Committee at PCC hope you support us in our endeavours to give you a cricket/community pavilion fit for the LDCC Premier Division, fit for community facilities, and fit for the 21st century.
