Scorers and Umpire Courses: These courses are commencing for scorers on 17th Nov at Northop Hall & for umpires 19th January 2010 at N.Hall. Anyone interested please email:

Junior Nets: Junior Nets are going extremely well at Kinmel Bay with larger numbers than we thought. Great enthusiasm by all the Juniors forbodes well for next season! Next session Tuesday November 24th 5 -6.30pm.

Hi Robbie: We're getting asked about different age groups every day! Basically the trials are the 6, 13 and 20 of December. Each age group NEW coach will write or phone to confirm times on the day etc. Some coaches are faster than others at getting this info out. If you have'nt heard by 30 Nov I'll make a phone call for you.

A Great night was had by all on Dec 11th at our pre-Xmas Quiz and 175 Club Draw. The 2 draws were won by Roger Rimmington and Roger Budger who win £500 each. Many thanks to Iestyn who put together a superb quiz (if a little bit too difficult for a certain trio of Ladies!!!)

1st XI - The Bridging Finance Knock - Out Trophy Cup Draw has been made and Prestatyn face Rainhill on Saturday April 17th at 1.30pm. We are in Group 3 and our 2nd game is on April 24th away to Hightown. The 3rd game on May 1st is at home to Sutton. Then group winners play offs take place in July.

The 1st XI 2010 fixture list is now online- see menu bar at top - opening fixtures against Northop Hall and Bootle should test our lads out! Please note cup comp is held in April hence the late start of the league on May 8th.

Junior Winter Nets: Juniors aged 5-13 and N E Wales triallists aged 14 and 15 don't forget the 1st post Xmas net is on Sunday January 3rd at 9-1030am at Y Morfa Kinmel Bay Price £3 per child.

U/15 squad and Seniors commence on January 24th at 10.30am.

Where are all our Juniors aged 5-13? We know 9am is early on a Sunday but get out of bed and come to cricket training at Y Morfa Leisure Centre! Those who attend winter training are much fitter and learn a lot more than those who only play in the summer. Let's see more of you next Sunday!

For confirmation purposes am I to understand that training for all under 15's is now Tuesdays and not Sunday mornings - if so have you considered parents who work ?????

As all the juniors and particularly the U/15's were all told before half term - The U/15's will continue to train on Sundays with the seniors at 10.30-12.30pm and they ALSO have the option to attend on Tuesdays at 5- 6.30pm if they want the extra session. For 5-13 year olds we had no choice but to change the times as only 3 were turning up on Sundays. We had no option on the timing of Tuesday sessions as this was all that was available.

U/13 and U/15 Teams - The Spirit of Cricket Cup Comp draw has taken place. The U/13's are at home to Pontblyddn - date TBA and our U/15 team face the challenge of a home tie v Gresford.. more details to follow in season.
